Over the years Spurgeon straps have found their way into the hands of professional musicians like Sam Bush, Chris Thile, Ricky Skaggs, Lex Price, and Steve Kaufman. We are the official mandolin strap of Michael Johnathon and the Woodsongs Old-time Radio Hour. Roscoe Morgan now uses our deluxe model on his Eastman mandolins as well!

Over 2000 straps have been delivered to satisfied customers around the world, including places as far away as Australia and Japan! Spurgeon straps are also available in many local music shops around the country as well as on many internet sites. Each Spurgeon strap is made of high quality leather strips, purchased right here in the USA, and that quality is hand braided into every strap we make.

Our straps are designed to fit around the scroll on F-style mandolins and around the peghead on A-styles. If requested, they can be made to fit a mandolin with a strap button at the heel of the neck. Our unique “loop and bead” attachment also gives you unlimited adjustability in length, instead of two or three positions.
